I am happy to support a fellow Black creator, however there are real books about hair care within the type-4 curly, coily, kinky hair. There is no detail in detangling practice and little substance outside of the graphics for each step. I also have to point out that the author has very short hair which is a HUGE caveat to this habit change.
Could have used more information on detangling, but overall a good guide. I have already noticed a positive change in my hair.
I enjoyed the color pop of the book. The pictures,reccomended product suggestions and step by step application. I'm interested in the products she recommended and will give it a try.
